I left my office job when our oldest was born, always planning to wait until our kids were in school full time before going back to work. As an introvert, I feel most at home...well, at home—and I love being with our kids all the time (okay, most of the time).

But in the spring of 2021, God placed a dream on my heart and gave me the nudge to open a children’s boutique. At first, it felt far too big and bold—but the ideas kept coming, detailed and exciting, and I couldn’t ignore the spark I felt. I saw a need in my city and online for a source of modern clothing and accessories for children, and for businesses willing to lend support to nonprofits serving vulnerable kids in my community.

As I started exploring the idea, I realized how my seemingly scattered skills and passions—business, journalism, graphic and web design, and a deep love of tiny baby clothes—all clicked together in a way that felt meant to be.

Sales was always the very last type of job I’d be drawn to, but owning a children's boutique doesn't feel like that at all. It’s sharing thoughtfully chosen pieces I love, connecting with other moms and caregivers, and curating beautiful, practical items that have made a difference in our family’s daily life.
